Eudora Photo Contest

The City of Eudora Parks and Recreation Department
will be running a photo contest in Eudora!

Embrace the theme of “Summer Fun in Eudora” and take your best
photo (selfies are encouraged!) of people, places and things
at Eudora parks, schools, ballfields, pools, downtown, etc.
just show how you enjoy summer in Eudora!

First place will receive a Family Day pass to the community pool,
second place will receive a disc golf Frisbee,
and third place will receive a free 1 hour session at the Rec Center gym.

or by messaging, sharing, or posting to the City of Eudora
Facebook page or the Eudora Parks and Recreation Facebook page. 

By submitting a photo you allow the City of Eudora and the
Eudora Parks and Recreation department to post
your photos on social media and City run websites. 



Summer Spray 5k!

The LMH Endowment Association presents the 8th annual
"Summer Spray" 5k Run/Walk in Eudora on Saturday, July 30.

What could be more refreshing during a summer run than a little water?

Just one thing:  LOTS of water!  

We're talking about gallons of H2O - and FUN -
at the annual 5k Run/Walk series benefiting Lawrence Memorial Hospital
and the neighboring communities it serves.

Race begins at 8am at the Eudora Community Center

Let’s Talk About Trails!

You are all invited to attend an open forum and community
event to discuss the Bluejacket Trail revitalization project. 

The City of Eudora is currently in the process of applying
for a grant to revitalize the Bluejacket Trail and
would like community input into the project. 

The event is open to the public at the Bluejacket Park shelter
at 12th and Cedar from 6-8 PM Thursday, July 7th. 
Cookies and water will be provided. 

Submitting input on the City’s survey will also be appreciated
as it will aid in showing support for the project.

 Come out and let your voice be heard!

The Eudora Parks and Recreation Department gives Eudora residents and others from surrounding communities the opportunity for family oriented activities.

ECAC fill community needs with a fitness room, gymnasium, two community meeting rooms, a kitchen, a walking track, and modern locker rooms. Classes such as Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga and Tae Kwon Do are held often. Coupled with a new sports and leisure program for all ages, EP&R has many exciting plans and opportunities in the horizon!
